The report summarizes the quantity, value (equivalent to replacement cost), and replacement cost timeline of the existing underground site utilities. The inventory was populated from InSite Interactive Maps which is used by the San Mateo Community College District to digitally access the underground utilities for its three campuses (College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Skyline College).

BetterGIS Field Verification
For the College of San Mateo College campus utilities depicted are based on original plans provided by SMCCD and field observations. During field observations some utilities were observed in locations that differed from the source documents. In each case the utilities were drawn to best fit the field observations based on the intent of the original source documents and maintain their link to the source documents. No underground utilities were traced, potholed or otherwise verified. Video inspections were not performed. Since the original campus is approximately 93 years old (the 17th oldest campus the 113 campuses in the California Community Colleges system), a series of inspections or capacity analyses is merited.
